Furniture Movers Sharjah: Dubai to Sharjah and Local Moves
The Dubai to Sharjah corridor is the busiest residential move in the UAE, and we run it daily in both directions. Renovel packs, dismantles, transports and rebuilds across every Sharjah district, from the mid-rise towers of Al Nahda and Al Taawun to villas in Al Yarmook and the newer communities at Muwaileh, Al Zahia and Aljada. We reserve the lift with your building, work around commuter peaks, and quote one fixed price with tolls inside it.
Sharjah Areas We Cover
Sharjah moves split between two very different building stocks: dense older mid-rise apartments near the Dubai border and the corniche, and newer master-planned communities out towards Muwaileh and Tilal. The paperwork, the lift situation and the crew size all change between them.

Sharjah Moving Services
Dubai to Sharjah
Our highest-volume intercity route. Loaded in Dubai in the morning, unloaded and rebuilt in Sharjah the same day, with the departure timed around the commuter peak rather than through it.
Sharjah to Dubai
Run just as often in reverse, usually for people moving closer to work in Dubai Marina, JVC, Al Barsha or Bur Dubai. Sharjah move-out clearance is sorted before the truck arrives.
Within Sharjah
Al Nahda to Muwaileh, Al Khan to Al Taawun, Al Majaz to Al Yarmook. Local apartment and villa moves handled by the same crews that run the Dubai route.
Villa Moving
Al Yarmook, Halwan, Sharqan, Al Ramtha and Al Azra. Large family volumes, majlis seating, appliances and store rooms, planned as a two-truck day.
Furniture Collection and Delivery
From the Industrial Area workshops, Al Jubail and Souq Al Haraj to your home in Sharjah, Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Wrapped, carried in, assembled and placed, not dropped in the lobby.
Office and Warehouse
SAIF Zone, Hamriyah, Sajaa and the Industrial Areas. Desks, racking, stock and equipment moved outside your operating hours so trading resumes the next day.
Sharjah Paperwork and Building Access
Sharjah does not run a single emirate-wide moving permit the way Dubai master developers do, so the approval chain looks different. In older buildings it is the landlord and the building supervisor. In the newer communities it looks much more like Dubai. Four things to have ready either way.
Sharjah does not use Ejari
Tenancy contracts here are attested through Sharjah Municipality, not the Dubai Land Department system, and Sharjah has moved that process onto a digital tenancy platform. Whichever document proves your tenancy, the building wants to see it before it lets a truck load or unload.
SEWA clearance before you leave
Outstanding SEWA bills have to be settled and the account closed before most landlords release a move-out clearance. The utility security deposit is refunded to your IBAN after closure, so give SEWA your bank details rather than waiting for a cheque that never comes.
Landlord NOC, then building access
A landlord or property manager NOC is the usual gate in Sharjah. Older blocks handle access through the building supervisor rather than an online portal, which is quicker to arrange but means the loading spot and lift use are agreed in person. We do that call before the day.
New communities work like Dubai
Aljada, Al Zahia, Tilal City and Sharjah Waterfront City run formal community management with registered vehicles, permitted hours and a move slot. Give us the community name and we submit the same document pack we use for Dubai towers: trade licence, insurance certificate and truck plates.
If the move crosses into Dubai, the Dubai end still needs its own developer approval, and those take longer. Emaar and Sobha buildings typically want 5 to 7 working days and Nakheel or DAMAC 3 to 5, so the Dubai side, not the Sharjah side, usually sets your earliest possible date. See furniture movers in Dubai for how that works.
What Each Sharjah District Means for Your Move
Sharjah has more buildings without a goods lift than any other emirate we work in, so the address tells us more about the job than the inventory does.
Al Nahda and Al Taawun
The densest apartment stock in the emirate and the most common Sharjah move we run. Mid-rise towers of eight to fifteen floors, usually with one or two passenger lifts and no dedicated goods lift, so the lift has to be reserved with the building supervisor and padded before use. Street loading is tight and short-term, which is why we bring the right size of truck rather than the biggest one.
Al Majaz, Al Buhaira and Corniche
Older waterfront blocks with narrow stair cores, small lift cars and kerbside loading on busy roads. Long sofas and rigid wardrobes sometimes will not turn on the landing, so we dismantle more here than anywhere else in the UAE. Surveying before quoting matters in these buildings.
Rolla, Al Ghuwair and Al Soor
Old Sharjah, with walk-up buildings, congested streets and limited parking near the entrance. Carry distance and stair count drive the cost. We plan an early start so loading happens before the shopping traffic builds around the souq.
Muwaileh, Al Zahia and Aljada
Newer townhouses, villas and low-rise apartments near University City, with formal community entry procedures and registered gate access. Volumes are family-sized and turnover peaks in August and September when the academic year changes over, so book earlier for those weeks.
Al Yarmook, Halwan, Sharqan and Al Ramtha
Established villa districts with generous driveways and no lift constraints at all. The work here is volume: majlis seating, store rooms, garden furniture, appliances. Usually a two-truck day with a larger crew rather than a permit problem.
Industrial Areas, Al Jubail and Souq Al Haraj
Sharjah is where a lot of UAE furniture is bought. We collect from the furniture souqs, workshops and warehouses in the Industrial Areas and deliver into Dubai or Abu Dhabi homes, assembled and placed, rather than left in a lobby by a delivery driver.
The Dubai to Sharjah Corridor
Central Dubai to central Sharjah is a half-hour drive on a clear road and a two-hour crawl at the wrong time of day. On a short route like this, scheduling is worth more than horsepower.
Pick the hour, then the route
Traffic runs Dubai-bound in the morning and Sharjah-bound from mid-afternoon. We load in Dubai from about 6:30am so the truck is across the border before the peak, or start after 9:30am once it has cleared. An afternoon departure towards Sharjah is the one scheduling mistake that reliably costs a couple of hours.
Salik on one route, not the other
Al Ittihad Road passes the Al Mamzar North and Al Mamzar South gates, and crossing both within one hour is charged only once. Salik runs at AED 6 plus VAT at peak, AED 4 plus VAT off-peak and nothing between 1am and 6am. The E311 inland route has no gates. Sharjah has no toll system of its own, and either way the tolls sit inside your fixed price.
Short route, same standards
A thirty-minute drive tempts people towards an open pickup and two helpers. Everything still gets wrapped, dismantled properly and strapped in a closed truck, because most damage happens in the stairwell and the lift, not on the motorway.
Sharjah Moving Prices
Orientation ranges covering packing, dismantling, transport, tolls and reassembly. Floor level and lift access move you inside the band more than anything else in Sharjah.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much do furniture movers in Sharjah charge?
▾
A single item between Dubai and Sharjah starts from AED 400, a studio or 1-bedroom is AED 600 to 1,200, and a 2 to 3-bedroom apartment AED 900 to 1,800. Local moves inside Sharjah run AED 500 to 1,500 for an apartment and AED 1,300 to 3,500 for a villa. Sharjah is the cheapest intercity route from Dubai because the drive is short, so the price is driven far more by floor level, lift access and packing scope than by distance.
What paperwork do I need to move out of a Sharjah building?
▾
Sharjah does not use the Dubai Ejari system: tenancy contracts are attested through Sharjah Municipality, and the emirate has moved that onto a digital tenancy platform. Before a landlord or property manager releases move-out clearance, expect to settle outstanding rent and close your SEWA account, with the utility deposit refunded to your IBAN afterwards. A landlord NOC is the usual document the building supervisor wants to see on the day, and we bring our trade licence and insurance certificate to go with it.
Do Sharjah buildings have goods elevators?
▾
Many do not. A large share of the apartment stock in Al Nahda, Al Taawun, Al Majaz and Al Qasimia is mid-rise with one or two passenger lifts and no dedicated service lift, so the lift is reserved with the building supervisor and padded before we use it. In older Rolla and Al Ghuwair walk-ups there may be no lift at all. This is why we survey Sharjah buildings rather than quoting blind: the stair count changes the crew size and the price.
When should we schedule a Dubai to Sharjah move to avoid traffic?
▾
Load early or load late, never at commuter peak. The Dubai to Sharjah corridor carries one of the heaviest commuter flows in the country, Dubai-bound in the morning and Sharjah-bound in the late afternoon. A 6:30am to 7am start in Dubai gets the truck across before it seizes up, and a start after 9:30am also works. Mid-afternoon departures towards Sharjah are the ones that cost you two hours.
Are Salik tolls charged on a Dubai to Sharjah move?
▾
It depends on the route. Al Ittihad Road passes the Al Mamzar North and Al Mamzar South gates, and if a vehicle crosses both within one hour it is charged only once. Salik is AED 6 plus 5 percent VAT at peak and AED 4 plus VAT off-peak, with no charge between 1am and 6am. The inland E311 route has no toll gates at all. Sharjah itself has no toll system. Either way, tolls are already inside the fixed price we quote you.
Can you collect furniture I bought in Sharjah and deliver it to Dubai?
▾
Yes, and it is one of our most requested Sharjah jobs. Sharjah is where a lot of UAE furniture is actually bought, from the Industrial Area workshops and the Al Jubail and Souq Al Haraj markets, and store delivery often stops at the building entrance. We collect, wrap for transit, carry into the room you want and assemble, from AED 450. The same applies to pieces going the other way for reupholstery or repair.
